A local LB has finally accumulated enough savings to purchase a navy Tommy Hilfiger Windrunner.
Having his eyes on the prize since January, Murphy Chan (16) committed to getting his hands on the jacket by the end of lockdown (hopefully just before he finishes exams), by doubling down on weekend shifts at McDonalds in the CBD.
The deep fry assistant, who is paid double on Sunday’s, claims it is a no brainer.
“I burnt myself on breakfast shift twice last week” says the acne-prone casual “But it’s all gonna be worth it”
“I’m gonna be so skux bro”
The soon-to-be luxury sportswear owner plans to flash the jacket when he returns to school and one day wear it to a certain CBD bar when he turns 18. He imagines the air cut around him as he enters the venue with his hair waxed in a 45 degree direction, drawing attention from ‘all the LGs’.
Of course, Murphy plans on popping his collar and getting all the boys to wear the same jacket as him.
As he looks towards his rostered day off tomorrow and his future fashion choices, Murphy is exhales in pleasure. Could this weekend get any better?
“I can’t wait to go Parramatta Glue when it reopens”.
